“Democrats revel in the game of dividing Americans into groups and doling out special treats for the ones that behave. It’s not something to celebrate. It’s a disgrace.”

Bingo. They’re political Johnny Appleseeds, sowing division everywhere. After the treats are doled out, campaign strategies are built around scaring the favored group into believing that the Republicans are gunning for the treats and will take them all away. That’s pretty much been the only Democratic game plan since the 1980’s.

That’s why the health care boondoggle will be problematic and enduring if it’s allowed to pass. No matter how inefficient it is (and it will be), or how badly it drags on an already damaged economy, their rallying cry from now on will be “The Republicans are going to take away your health care and you’ll die!”

Again, it’s a disgrace.
