We couldn’t possibly get this waste of prime Manhattan real estate shoved to the bottom of the Atlantic quickly enough.
The United Nations has to be the most God-awful collection of human beings outside of Cave Osama.
In case you weren’t sure, human gender is “changeable over time and contexts,” sex slaves must not be “stigmatized” for their work, and it’s important to recognize the role of “transgender and intersex individuals as stakeholders” in counterterrorism policy.
This sick little group of people whose few joys in life are largely due to the protection and largesse of the United States spends most of its time finding ways to spit in the face of and undermine its host country. What they never seem to understand is that constantly attempting to weaken the U.S. and make it cede sovereignty to the them will virtually ensure the U.N.’s demise.
Once one understands the perpetual end game at the U.N. it’s easier to understand how they concoct organized derangement like this report.
Here are a couple of gems:
• Loosen terror financing laws to ensure “safe and effective channels for funding … of organizations devoted to gender equality”
• “Repeal restrictive immigration controls” that violate human rights by “unduly penalizing transgender persons whose personal appearance and data are subject to change” as their “self-defined gender identity” changes.
Having spent my whole life living in Southwestern border states I thought I’d heard every whack-job argument against letting people waltz across the border illegally. Congrats to the U.N. for pointing out that immigration laws are “unduly penalizing transgender persons”. Because I’m taking a United States-centric view here I need to ask: how the hell can a poor Mexican who is fleeing for a better life here afford a sex change?
The report criticized enhanced security checks “that focus attention on male bombers who may be dressing as females to avoid scrutiny [and] make transgender persons” — who might also be crossdressing — “susceptible to increased harassment and suspicion.”
Because the world of radical Islam is rife with gender confusion and cross-dressers, right?
One of the biggest problems with the U.N. is that it’s difficult to grab all of them at once, throw them up against a wall and scream, “What in the **** are you morons thinking?!?!?”
“It does not strike me as ridiculous … to look at policies through the lens of gender,” said Benjamin Wittes, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution.
Wittes noted that gender issues — including the Taliban’s vicious treatment of women — have made it virtually impossible for Western nations and Pakistan to have normal relations with the Taliban.
“That’s not an inconsiderable criticism — it’s a valid criticism,” he said. But Wittes added that to place “gender rights at the center of (counterterrorism policy) is kind of an absurd proposition” that he said made the report ridiculous.
There are two notable things about the above quote from the liberal Brookings Institution.
First, Wittes admits that normal relations with the Taliban are impossible, which directly counter what Team Lightbringer has been trying to sell to the uncritical the past two weeks.
Second, even he admits that the context in which the U.N. report places the issue of gender inequality is “absurd”.
So, trolls, it’s not just us bitter/clinger winger nut jobs on this one.
In reality, all people concerned with gender issues should be wholeheartedly supporting efforts to make sure the radical Islam/Taliban/Sharia types are rendered impotent and irrelevant. I constantly wonder why American feminists are so silent on this subject.
Oh yeah, American feminism died when they all shut their mouths about Bill Clinton. My bad.
Worry not, U.N. freaks, President Obama is far too busy waging a war against Fox News to get around to actually making sure counterterrorism policies are being adhered to.
Hope and Change.

I think you are my new favorite blogger. As sarcastic as Allahpundit but a little more conservative (I think).
Good stuff. Well said!
High praise, indeed. Thank you. I am a bit more conservative than Allah (we’re both libcons more than anything) and he entertains the hell out of me.
This is Kevin Jennings dream. Once H.R. 2262: Safe Schools Improvement Act of 2009 get the U.S. Department of Education to track such statistics for these transgender and intersex categories, it wont be long until they will be getting…the world to whine to.
