If President Obama’s vision for health care is truly what every American wants, why, oh why, isn’t it a reality yet? After all, the Democrats have a stranglehold on Congress right now. Shouldn’t they be able to shove whatever they want down our throats?

The harsh reality is that the Obama Magic Unicorn dream of health care reform (where a new layer of federal bureaucracy reduces the cost of something for the first time in human history) isn’t moving forward because there are several Democrats who have olfactory integrity and can smell a steaming pile of crap when it’s near.

They can keep blaming the protesters, BIG INSURANCE or the chupacabra all they want but it’s the Democrats who are standing in their own way.
